Beside the Sea OT 2026
2026 has already been a full and fast-paced year of Occupational Therapy. I feel deeply privileged to walk alongside so many individuals and families.
The year began with significant change: recovering from a head injury after wild winds at Wilsons Promontory, and the sale of our family home, White Cedar. While these transitions carry the promise of new beginnings, moving through the endings- held by the love of family and friends - was not without challenge.
My head is healing remarkably well, a reminder of how residentially and wonderfully we are made. White Cedar now begins a new chapter with Daniel and Laura, who will create their own family memories there. Our children, too, are carrying forward what they have gained at home as they build lives of their own. Love ripples outward like waves, showing how ordinary lives can have an extraordinary reach.
I will be taking leave over Easter and from Monday 13th April to Monday 4th May. During this time, I will be catching up on work admin, then visit family in New Zealand and attend and facilitate at the 3rd Immersive ANZCI: Aotearoa New Zealand Constellations Intensive in April in Rotorua. I look forward to seeing you on my return.
I hope you find something here of interest. Please feel free to reach out or to explore how Family Systemic Constellations may support you on your journey with yourselves and your children. In Occupational Therapy as in Family Systemic Work, we are looking at acceptance of what is, and harmony in belonging, order and balance - so that we release the binds, move the barriers and reach out to one another for a life where we support one another. Together, we create connection, so that we can reach for our potential and support one another with strength and joy.

During the 3rd Immersive ANZCI: Aotearoa New Zealand Constellations Intensive in April in Rotorua I will be offering a workshop to look at and experience 'selah' - a peaceful pause.
In selah, in stillness, we can hear the still, small voice that connects our higher self to what is, to truth, to honour, to a loving pathway. This is where we are guided by more than our intuition - where we are guided in our circumstances and situations in accord with all that is truthful, good, wise, honoring, respectful and eternal - so that greater Love may flow in our lives.
During facilitation of individual inquiries and possible constellations, I will pause to indicate this type of facilitator listening skill, where we are taken beyond our own knowledge and step into service to one another. When we learn the art and practice of selah in the action of listening, of presence, of compassion we are guided and thus we are empowered to dig deep to a strength we did not know we could find.
