We are required to bill/invoice in line with NDIS /Medicare Guidelines as a principle of equity for Occupational Therapy. Pricing and session times are set by funding guidelines. Please check with your provider re rebates or funding blocks.​

Referrals

Getting a Medicare GP referral for OT for yourself or your child. 

​1. Ask your GP for a referral.

OT attracts rebates for 5 sessions per calendar year under a GP team care plan called a Chronic Condition Management Plan (CCMP) for Allied Health.

OT attracts 10 sessions per lifetime when referred by a Paediatrician.

2. Your GP needs my details as follows:

3. Sessions must be attended by child accompanied by their parent or guardian. Sessions must be at least 20 minutes.

5. I will send you an invoice following your session. You can take this to Medicare or go online to receive your rebate. If NDIS I will send directly to yourself or to your plan manager. 

​

6. I will write a brief letter to your GP on the first and last session. This contributes to your team care and is a Medicare requirement. This time is not billed. ​​​
